{Bridal Make Up}

If you're like me, when you think of your wedding day, everything has to be perfect. It's the first day of the rest of your new life, so it better be perfect! And what girl doesn't want to look stunning on her wedding day!? From the dress to the hair to the make up, this is THE day and you only get one.

I've always envisioned what I might look like on my wedding day and now that I have my dress and other accessories picked out, it's finally coming together. I began thinking about make up for the wedding day a few months ago. I want to look natural yet enhanced, so I started doing research and reading up on good foundations and other make up for photos. Here's what I found!

Let's start with foundation...

This first one is Estee Lauder's Double Wear. My best friend and MOH (check out her blog here) told me about it and I'm in love!

It's a 15 hour long-wearing foundation and it lives up to it. I've been wearing it for a little over two months now and it stays on throughout the day so well, better than anything else I've ever tried. Again, I love love this product. It's a must try!

Another foundation that I've heard about but not tried is Dinar's Airbrush make up. This is supposed to be some good stuff. If I try it, I'll be sure to write another blog post and let you know what I thought :)

Now for a few bridal looks...

I love watching tutorials for every day make up, and it's no exception with bridal make up.

This is a video I came across by professional make up artist, Kandee Johnson. If you are a make up fanatic like me, then meet your new best friend. Kandee is awesome and very knowledgeable. She is so fun and bubbly and her tutorials are super easy to watch and her looks are fun to recreate. In this video she creates a gorgeous bridal look with a soft, nude, natural, smoky eye, light pink cheeks and frosty pink colored lip. Even if you’re not getting married, this is a great, beautiful look - I love it. Enjoy!

This is the finished look! So gorgeous.

The next few bridal looks are photos that inspire me. I pulled them from my Pinterest wedding board, of course :)

A lot of these looks can be created with the right combo of nude colors and darker, smoky colors. This palette by Too Faced is fantastic. I've been wearing it for the past few weeks. You could definitely recreate any of these looks with these great eye shadows!
